Allow Me To Help You, Help Me!

I have been checking out what other bloggers have been blogging about and I have noticed that a lot of them review and promote various products and businesses. Many times, at the end of theses posts, there will be a disclaimer saying that this was not a sponsored post but that the hotel for example, had covered their expenses, or the clothing company had given them a stipend for some clothing, etc. This naturally got me to thinking about all of the things I’d be happy to promote in exchange for the opportunity to test them out and/or enjoy them for a while. Behold the following companies who should contact me immediately, because I’m here for you, Baby!

Porsche, Range Rover, Volvo, Audi: Yes, yes, it’s true I’m dyslexic as hell so I’ve never bothered to get a license, but I could bite the bullet and get one, or my sister would be willing to drive me around. In fact, I’m pretty sure any of my sisters would be willing to drive me around if it meant being given a new car. Probably a few friends, too. Possibly even ones I didn’t know I had, so let’s not get hung up on technicalities. We could work out the details.

Travel agencies and all things travel related:  I need a vacation and I would be happy to check out hotels and airlines for you No cruise ships, though, as I have a thing about open water and don’t want to deal with pirates, regardless of how much my daughter enjoys all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

This brings us to movies, though: I would be happy to go to the movies! I love going to the movies and could review the theater, the popcorn and the film. I think we could all work together to make this a win-win all around!

Anthropology, Forever 21, Tilly’s, The Gap, Pac Sun: I need clothes, my kids need clothes and frankly, my readers need clothes. I think it’s clear that you could reach us all with a nice stipend, as they say.

Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Book baby: My readers are readers, Duh! So of course we would be a perfect match.

Subway: My daughters’ best friends often get this in their lunches at school which leads my daughters to want the same. I could promote this as a simple, semi-healthy (okay, fine I’ll say it’s totally healthy) alternative to having to make your kid a lunch.

Coffee Bean!: As anyone who knows me can attest to, I would sing your praises, and besides, I’ve put enough money into your company that I really should own at least a portion of it. I’m just sayin…

Pottery Barn, IKEA : I’d like some new furniture and a bed that doesn’t creak, and you have that, along with sheets, comforters, towels, and other cool things. I’m a big fan of cool things so we could totally work together.

Computers: I use them every day and I’ll bet my readers do, too, because they are finding me online, so you know, it’s pretty obvious. Plus one of my daughters has just started high school and I’ll bet she’d really like one that was all her own.

Dodgers, Lakers, Kings: I may live in a house of all girls but we like sports, (although admittedly some of us more than others). Still. we’d enjoy getting to go to games and especially if we could have good seats.

And lastly for now, Tours! It’s always been a dream of mine to go on tour with one of my favorite bands. Think of the blogs I could write.

So you see, the possibilities are endless. Call me! (Well, email me anyway.) I’ll get right back to you.

Oh My God Bridget this is hilarious! I’m a huge music fan and I’m with you on band tours! Corporate sponsorship to follow favorite band(s) on tour! Love! Love! Love! 🙂 Are you on twitter? If you are….I’m @Christy_Farmer.

Hi Bridget, I’m visiting from the Campaign list. My God, you are prolific! (I read your first post first.) So what kind of steroids do you take? Sounds like you’re in the LA area. If so, I’ll be happy to do the driving once you’ve made a deal with one of those car companies. (BTW, my post from last Monday was inspired by LA driving. Check it out, and keep me posted as to responses from Porsche, Audi, whomever…)
