It’s Oscar Sunday and I have the house to myself for the next few hours, how sweet is that? I was hopeful that I’d have seen more of the nominated movies than I have, but then that’s true every year. I’ve seen Silver Linings Playbook and that’s it. Sight unseen I’m rooting for Argo as best picture just because I like an underdog.
Speaking of which…

Here’s the thing, I was thinking about this and Marny could be to books what Bridesmaids was to movies. No one knew that would be as big as it was and Marny could run wild in the same way, right? Tessa would really like to see this as a movie. She has cast Joseph Morgan (Vampire Diaries) as Malcolm. So spread the word people! I love you and am counting on you. After all my kids want a dog and I need a house.

Just as when the superbowl approached and I had to asked, “Whose playing?” – me with the Oscars, “Whose up?” That’s as shame. I don’t keep up anymore. I’ve heard Argo was good – need to see it.
