Are You a Game Player?

I am not. I’ve played my share fair of Candyland, Trouble, and of course there has been the occasional game of Monopoly, but overall I don’t do games. My kids do and so do a lot of people. Now the games are online and you aren’t just expected to play a game with your kids but on Facebook. I don’t play those games, either. Send me a request for Farmville or anything else and I’ll ignore you.

That said, I realize others dearly love online games. My older sister can play word games on her kindle long past the point where I’d have gone blind. My younger sister loves Solitaire, and my daughter would chase aliens and blow up little critters all day long if I were to let her.

Recently this link came across my email. http://www.binguez.es.   Yes, it’s Spain’s #1 bingo game, and yes, I had to click on the English button to find that out, but I’ll bet there are a lot of people who would be far more interested than me, which is why I am writing this post. So seriously, are you a game player? If so, check it out.

I love to play games the old fashioned way. I know you are shocked right? I’d rather play Scrabble on a board than on an iPad, checker, monopoly etc. I ignore all the FB games, I don’t want to play against virtual people or “friends”. I will say as far as my gagets go I am like both your sisters. I’ll play something like that Kindle or on my phone until my eyelids get heavy. If I fall asleep on a book or television then that’s what I dream about all night. If I fall asleep on a game I sleep more peacefully.

  2. I’ve nominated you for an award! But don’t feel obligated to accept.
