As soon as I knew we were going to Lake Tahoe I devised this plan to place “On a Hot August Afternoon” at certain story locations. For example, in front of the Kentucky Fried Chicken where Stacey first confides in Stephanie.
Or on the beach…
But I never found the time to go set it up on the pier where she takes her coffee and goes to think. There were too many people and not enough time to make everyone wait around or take side trips. Still I captured some of it.
And the next book, “The Salacious Marny Ottwiler” takes place all over the world. I can’t wait to take that book on vacation!

You are keeping that vacation alive for us. Thanks.
Now that’s a cute idea! Love it. And such a good way to not only have fun, but keep the story alive for others. Mine happens just the opposite. I go on vacation and then the places show up in my stories
Wow! Your book really gets around.
