As most of you know, we have been stuck living next to a construction site for months now. Like a train wreck, I can’t stop watching but nothing they construct makes any sense. This picture was taken yesterday and what it doesn’t show is the block wall maze directly to the left. At first we reasoned all of this must be for underground parking, but they have filled in so much of it that you couldn’t put more than two cars in there tops, and are they really going to put a building on these thin poles?
I guess we heve no choice but to stay tuned and find out.
I assume that is the support floor to build the “ceiling” of the parking garage/ “floor” of the first floor. I’m guessing all the rebar and steel will be constructed on top of that structure and then they pour the concrete around the rebar and steel. After i the concrete is set they remove that structure from underneath….That’s my theory and I’m stickin to it.
Rick’s got a pretty good imagination. My answer is, “I don’t know” and I’m stickin’ to that. Keep us posted.
