Transitions

As great as it was to get away for a few days, it was hard to come home. You’d think the one good thing about a vacation so short would be that the transition back into the real world would be easy. Wrong! There have been tears at one time or another today from all of us. Clearly, we are wimps!

Slowly, as the day has gone on things have begun to fall back into place. I’m hopeful that tomorrow will go just that much smoother. It was a great vacation that was a long time coming, and I will write about it in more detail tomorrow. My sister shot over seven hundred pictures, so I have lots to share. In the meantime I’m going to go to sleep early tonight and do my best to greet the morning with renewed optimism.

It was just too darned short: just as you got used to being on vacation, you were yanked away. Not fair! xoM
