Ring the bell, sound the alarm, and pull out your kindle! For the next 24 hours “On a Hot August Afternoon” is available for a free download. I am hoping that this will spur people on to read it and then be so kind as to post a review. As a part of Kindle Select this used to be a ploy that worked well to help boost sales, but in all honesty I’ve heard that like most things that start out huge, this program is no longer as successful. Still, it’s worth a shot, right? After all, what have I got to lose?
